Privacy by design: 100% client-side text transformation

When you type, paste, or convert text using any tool on FancyTextGenerator, the entire transformation process occurs locally inside your web browser's memory using client-side JavaScript. At no point is your text input transmitted over the internet to our servers or any third-party infrastructure.

Unlike cloud-based conversion utilities that transmit user text across remote APIs, our application functions completely offline once the initial static assets have loaded. You can verify this independently by opening your browser's Developer Tools Network tab: you will observe zero outgoing HTTP POST requests when generating styles or copying symbols.

Information we never collect, process, or sell

We believe the vast majority of web utilities collect far more personal data than necessary. In contrast, FancyTextGenerator enforces strict non-collection policies:

• We do not collect or store the text, names, bios, or messages you type or generate.

• We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses (unless you voluntarily email our support inbox).

• We do not track your clipboard contents or monitor what you paste outside our explicit input elements.

• We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade user data with data brokers, ad networks, or artificial intelligence model training datasets.

• We do not create user profiles or track your browsing activity across other websites.

Local browser storage (localStorage) transparency

To provide a convenient user experience across return visits, our website uses your web browser's native localStorage mechanism for exactly two client-side configuration settings:

1. 'ftg-theme': Saves your visual preference between light mode and dark mode so your chosen theme persists across page navigation.

2. 'ftg-favorite-styles': Saves an array of string identifiers corresponding to styles you have marked with a star, enabling them to appear in your pinned Favorites section.

These localStorage entries contain only simple preference tokens. They never contain your personal text, timestamps, or identifying attributes. You can clear these preferences at any time by clearing your browser cache or site data.

Cookies, analytics, and third-party tracking policy

FancyTextGenerator does not use HTTP cookies, advertising trackers, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site fingerprinting scripts. There are no tracking scripts monitoring your behavior or logging your keystrokes.

If privacy-focused, aggregated analytics are implemented in the future to gauge overall page traffic, they will operate strictly on an anonymized, cookie-free basis without recording IP addresses, individual user sessions, or input text.

Hosting infrastructure and edge server logs

Our website is hosted on globally distributed static edge hosting infrastructure. When your browser requests web pages, stylesheets, or icons from our site, the hosting network automatically generates temporary, standard HTTP server access logs.

These server logs typically record the requesting IP address, requested URL, timestamp, HTTP status code, referring URL, and basic browser User-Agent header. These transient logs are maintained strictly for network security, DDoS attack mitigation, routing diagnostics, and server uptime verification, and are automatically purged on a rolling schedule.

External links and third-party platforms

Our website may contain informational links to external resources, such as the Unicode Consortium or platform help centers. Additionally, users generate text specifically to paste onto external platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Discord, X (Twitter), and YouTube.

Please be aware that once you navigate away from our website or paste generated text into third-party applications, your interactions are governed by the respective privacy policies and terms of those external services.

Children's online privacy protection (COPPA & GDPR)

FancyTextGenerator does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 within the European Economic Area). Because our service is completely free, does not offer account registration, and performs all text manipulation locally on the user's device, no personal data is ever harvested from minors.
